Learn on our new, all-natural trail obstacles in a natural, wooded, mountain-trail setting at the legendary Cardinet Oaks!

Clinic details

  • Registration opens October 8th
  • $50 clinic entry fee to ride the trail obstacle course with our clinicians offering advice, guidance, and constructive critique
  • Two sessions, morning and afternoon
  • Space is extremely limited; reserve early!
  • Obstacles at the clinic will include: bridge, teeter-totter bridge, octagon, backup L, stepover logs, ditch, rocky path, mailbox, rope gate, metal gate, sidepass log, upbank, ditch, and more!
  • $25 unmounted auditing option
  • Saturday evening social and no-host bar at CMDTRA's clubhouse
  • Lunch available for purchase with your registration
  • Riding is available all weekend. Trailer in and ride in CMDTRA's arenas, courses, and trails. Stabling is available for Friday and Saturday nights.
  • Camping space is available, too. (no hookups)
  • Raffle at the event! Refreshments table hosted by Clayton Canyon Pony Club
  • Goodie bag for all registrants
  • COVID guidelines of CDMTRA, DEHA, and state and local authorities will be followed. 
  • No refunds can be offered unless the clinic is canceled.

Tentative Clinic Schedule

Gates at Concord Mount Diablo Trail Ride Association will open at 6:30 am

Registration opens at the day-use parking area at 7:30

Morning riders should depart the parking area for Cardinet Oaks by 8:30

Morning session runs from 9:00-11:30

Lunch break from 11:45-12:45 at Cardinet Oaks

Afternoon riders should depart the parking area for Cardinet Oaks by 12:30 pm

Afternoon session runs from 1:00-3:30

Course closes at 4:00

Sunset is at 5:01 pm
